1. Create your account
Go to Start free trial, enter your shop's name and your email address, and we'll email you a confirmation link. Nothing is created until you open that link and choose your owner password. That way nobody can open a shop in your name.
- The link is valid for 24 hours. Asking again replaces the old one.
- Your shop starts on a free 14-day trial. No card is needed.
- You land straight in the Set up checklist.
2. Work through the checklist
The Set up page has two parts. The first gets your shop ready to look at; the second gets it ready for customers.
Name your shop and its address
Your shop gets its own web address,
yourshop.rentiqly.com. Your team signs in there. You can add your own domain for the storefront later.Add a location
Every unit and every bit of stock belongs to a location: a shop, a depot, a pickup point. Core includes three.
Add a product with a price
One is enough to start. Or install a starter template for your trade and edit it. See Add your first products.
Add units
Units are the individual items you rent out, like bike number 4 of 6. Products you only sell need stock counts instead.
3. Get ready for customers
Set opening hours
For every location that has units, mark each weekday open with its hours, or closed. Pickups and returns are only offered when you're open, and you can choose to charge only for open hours.
Connect card payments
Open Settings → Payments and choose Connect Stripe. You fill in your business and bank details on Stripe's own secure pages, never in Rentiqly. Payments then go straight to your Stripe account. Don't have one yet? You can create it during this step.
Confirm your booking and refund policy
Check cancellation tiers, no-show rules and the card deposit hold, then confirm. If you change a refund setting later, you'll be asked to confirm again.
Make a real test booking
Book something as a customer would, pay, and check that it arrives in Orders.
Publish the storefront
Until you publish, only you can see your store, with a preview banner. Publishing opens it to everyone.
Taking payments needs Stripe. During the trial you can build your whole catalogue and preview everything, but the storefront can't take a live online payment until Stripe is connected.
4. Invite your team
In Settings → Team, invite people by email and choose a role: Owner, Manager, Staff, Driver or Accountant. An invitation reserves a seat (Core includes three) but gives no access until it's accepted. You can resend or revoke it at any time.
When the trial ends
Choose a plan to keep going. If you don't, your storefront pauses and customers see a neutral "not taking orders right now" page. Nothing is deleted, and your team can still sign in, so you can pick up where you left off.
